مصالحة Mediation

بذل جهود للتقريب بين طرفي/ أطراف النزاع بواسطة طرف ثالث، يعمل ابتداءً على تصحيح سوء الفهم واستعادة الثقة وحسن الظنّ، ومدِّ جسور التواصل وخلق أجواء التعاون والاحترام المتبادل بين طرفي/ أطراف النزاع أو الصّراع؛ تمهيداً للوصول إلى تسوية مقبولة أو نهائية. ومن الباحثين من لا يرى في مُصطلحي )التوفيق/ المصالحة( مُصطلحين قائمين بذاتهما، إذ لا يعبّر كلٌّ منهما عن مُمارسة مستقلة وفق هذا التوجُّه، إنما يقعان ضمن عملية الوساطة.

Exerting efforts to bring the parties of the conflict together through a third party, working initially to correct misunderstandings, restore trust and good faith, build bridges of communication and create an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual respect between the parties to the conflict or struggle; In preparation for an acceptable or final settlement. Among the researchers, there are those who do not see the terms (Mediation/reconciliation) as stand-alone terms, as neither of them expresses an independent practice according to this orientation, but rather comes within the mediation process.
