لجان الحقيقة والمصالحة Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC)

هيئات رسمية تنشأ في المجتمعات الخارجة من نزاع أو من تحول ديمقراطي كبير كالثّورات، وتلعب دوراً محورياً في إعادة اللُّحمة الوطنيّة دون إهدار لحُقوق ضحايا الأنظمة السّابقة، ودون حرمان الطبقة الحاكمة السّابقة من فُرصة إعادة التأهيل؛ ومن ثم الاندماج من جديد في المُجتمع.

Official bodies that arise in societies emerging from conflict or major democratic transformation such as revolutions, and play a pivotal role in restoring national cohesion without wasting the rights of victims of previous regimes, and without depriving the former ruling class of the opportunity for rehabilitation; And then re-integration into society.
