قانون دولي International Law

يشمل القانون الإنساني الدولي على المبادئ والقواعد التي تنظم وسائل وأساليب الحرب، فضلا عن توفير الحماية الإنسانية للسكان المدنيين، والمقاتلين المرضى والجرحى، وأسرى الحرب. وتشمل الصكوك الرئيسية على اتفاقيات جنيف لعام 1949 لحماية ضحايا الحرب وبروتوكولاتها الإضافية المبرمة في عام 1977 تحت رعاية اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر. 

International humanitarian law includes the principles and rules that regulate means and methods of war, as well as providing humanitarian protection to the civilian population, sick and wounded fighters, and prisoners of war. The main instruments include the Geneva Conventions of 1949 for the protection of the war victims and their Additional Protocols concluded in 1977 under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
