بناء السلام Peace Building

تشييد البنية الأساسية والهياكل التي تساعد أطراف النزاع على العبور من مرحلة النزاع إلى مرحلة السّلام الإيجابي. فالغرض هنا هو إزالة أسباب النزاع، سواءًأكانت مادية أو معنوية أو معرفية، واستبدالها بآليات وهياكل تُمكّن الأطراف من التّعامُل مع بعضهم البعض بشكل سلمي، يسمح لهم بتحقيق غايتهم وبتنمية أوجه حياتهم. فهي عمليّة استعادة العلاقة الطبيعيّة بين النّاس، والمُساعدة على إقامة علاقات وديّة تعاوُنيّة لتحل محل العلاقات العِدائيّة/ التّنافسيّة القائمة. تتطلّب عمليّة بناء السّلام وقتاً للتعرُّف على الأسباب الحقيقيّة لنُشوء النّزاع، تمهيداً لحلّه وتعويض المُضارين منه، وذلك للوقاية من إمكانيّة تجدُّده بأشكال أُخرى في المُستقبل.

Establishing the infrastructure and structures that help the parties to the conflict to cross from the phase of conflict to the phase of positive peace. The purpose here is to remove the causes of conflict, whether physical, moral, or cognitive, and replace them with mechanisms and structures that enable the parties to deal with each other in a peaceful manner, allowing them to achieve their goal and develop aspects of their lives. It is the process of restoring the normal relationship between people and helping to establish friendly and cooperative relationships to replace the existing hostile/competitive relationships. The peace-building process requires time to identify the real causes of the conflict, in preparation for its resolution and compensation for those affected by it, in order to prevent the possibility of its renewal in other forms in the future.
