الحوار المجتمعي Community Dialogue

التّواصل التّشاركي والتّفاعلي لتحديد المُشكلات الاجتماعيّة المُشتركة وتحليلها، ومناقشتها تمهيداً للوصول فيها إلى توافق وتفاهم مُشترك للقضيّة وحل عملي وبنّاء لها. فالحوار المُجتمعي على خلاف المُناظرة؛ يهدف إلى تعميق الفهم في القضايا المُشتركة وإنصات كُل طرف للآخر، وتفهُّمه لوجهة نظره وخلق بيئة تعاونيّة يكون الرابح فيها هُو جميع الأطراف، وليس طرفاً واحداً فقط كما في أُسلوب المُناظرة.

Participatory and interactive communication to identify, analyze and discuss common social problems in preparation for reaching a consensus and common understanding of the issue and a practical and constructive solution to it. Societal dialogue is different than debate. It aims to deepen the understanding of common issues, make parties listen to each other, understand their point of view, and create a cooperative environment in which the winner is all parties, not just one, as in the debate method.
