التوثيق Documentation

يشير مصطلح “التوثيق” إلى الإجراء الذي يُعتبر به نص المعاهدة رسمياً ونهائياً. ولا يمكن للدول تغيير أحكام المعاهدة بعد توثيقها تغييراً أحادي الطرف. وإذا لم تتفق الدول التي تفاوضت بشأن معاهدة بعينها على إجراءات محددة للتوثيق، تُوثق المعاهدة عادة بالتوقيع أو بالتوقيع بشرط الرجوع إلى الحكومة أو بتوقيع ممثلي تلك الدول بالأحرف الأولى.

The term “Documentation” refers to the procedure by which a text of a treaty is deemed to be official and final. Countries cannot change the provisions of a treaty after unilaterally documenting it. If the Countries that negotiated a particular treaty do not agree on specific procedures for authentication, the treaty is usually notarized by signature, by signature provided reference is made to the government, or by the initials of the representatives of those countries.
