التقييم Evaluation

هي عملية قياس مدى نجاح مشروع أو برنامج ما في الوصول للأهداف التي كان مخططا لها.

وهي عملية تقدير مرحلي لتطور المشروع الحالي، أو الذي انتهى بالفعل مع الأخذ في االاعتبار أهداف المشروع والمؤشرات الموضوعة. فهو تقدير للأداء يركز على النتائج (النواتج والآثار) التي يمكن أن تكون داخلية أو خارجية. وتستطيع عمليات التقييم أن توفّر تقديرات حول ما يمكن أن ينجح ولماذا، وأن تسلط الضوء على النتائج المقصودة وغير المقصودة من أجل أهداف المساءلة والتعلم.

It is the process of measuring the extent of the success of a project or program in achieving the objectives that were planned.

And it is a process of evaluating the progress of the current project, or which has already been completed, taking into consideration the project objectives and indicators set. It is an assessment of performance that focuses on outcomes (outcomes and effects), which can be internal or external. Evaluations can provide assessments of what might work and why, and highlight intended and unintended outcomes for accountability and learning objectives.
