التحيّز Bias

عدم قُدرة الشّخص على أن يكون موضوعياً؛ وذلك لانحيازه، أو تفضيله لرأي أو لجانب أو لطرف واحد من أطراف النزاع على حساب آراء الآخرين ووجهات نظرهم التي قد تكون صحيحة. غالباً ما يستند هذا التحيّز إلى سوء تقدير، أو لاعتبارات اجتماعية أو آيديولوجية أو لعوامل نفسية مثل )التحيُّز للذات( أو (أخطاء الذاكرة(.

the inability to be objective; this is due to his bias, or his preference for the opinion of one side or one of the parties to the conflict at the expense of the opinions and points of view of others that may be correct. This bias is often based on a miscalculation, social or ideological considerations, or psychological factors such as (self-bias) or (memory errors).
