الاستماع الفعال Active listening

توجُّهٌ يتبنّى مبدأ التركيز على ما يقوله الطرف الآخر، والتأكيد على فهم محتوى الرسالة، والعواطف والمشاعر الكامنة وراءها. وهو أيضاً مجموعة من المبادئ والمهارات لتعزيز هذا النوع من التوجُّه عند مُمارسة عملية التواصل والحوار. من ضمن هذه المبادئ والمهارات: إبداء الاهتمام والتعاطف مع الآخر، والتقمُّص الوجداني) رؤية تجارب الآخرين كما يرَوْنها هُم( وتشجيعهم على إبداء آرائهم وعدم إصدار الأحكام المسبقة عليهم. 

An orientation that adopts the principle of focusing on what the other party is saying, and emphasizing an understanding of the content of the message, and the emotions and feelings behind it. It is also a set of principles and skills to reinforce this type of orientation when practicing the process of communication and dialogue. Among these principles and skills: showing interest and empathy for others, sentimental empathy (seeing the experiences of others as they see them) and encouraging them to express their opinions and not to prejudge them.
