الأمن الإنساني Human Security

يتم تعريف الأمن تقليدياً بأنه التحرُّر من الهُجوم العسكري، وهو مُرادف للأمن القومي. وفي الآونة الأخيرة توسّع المفهوم ليشمل أيضاً الشّواغل البيئيّة والاقتصاديّة. ويُستخدم مصطلح الأمن الانساني للتأكيد على ضرورة التركيز على احتياجات الفرد، بما في ذلك التحرُّر من الخوف والتحرُّر من العَوَز، ممّا يعني توافر الاحتياجات الإنسانية الأساسيّة.

Security is traditionally defined as freedom from military attack, and is synonymous with national security. More recently, the concept has expanded to also include environmental and economic concerns. The term human security is used to emphasize the need to focus on the needs of the individual, including freedom from fear and freedom from want, which means the availability of basic human needs.
