حفظ السلام Peacekeeping

الجهود التي تُتخذ أثناء النزاع بغرض تخفيض أو إزالة مظاهر العنف وتثبيت تفاعلات النزاع على درجة من اللاعنف؛ يُمكن معها استكشاف أساليب لحل وإصلاح النزاع. إن الغرض من حفظ السّلام ليس هُو حل النزاع من جُذوره، وإنما استعادة حالة اللاعنف.

Efforts are taken during the conflict to reduce or eliminate manifestations of violence, and to stabilize conflict interactions with a degree of nonviolence; With it, it is possible to explore methods for resolving and repairing the conflict. The purpose of peacekeeping is not to resolve conflict from its roots, but to restore a state of nonviolence.
