التدخل Intervention

إجراءات فرديّة أو مُتعددة الأطراف تتخذها أطراف خارجة عن النزاع للتأثير في مساره أو نتيجته. هذه الإجراءات قد يتم طلبها بواسطة أحد أطراف النزاع أو جميعها، أو قد يتم فرضها بالقوة.

قد يأخذ التدخُّل في العلاقات الدوليّة واحد من ثلاثة أشكال: إجراءات تتّخذها الدُّول الخارجية سعياً إلى تحقيق أهدافها السياسية أو تحقيق ظروف مواتية لتحقيق تلك الأهداف؛ أو إجراءات مُتّخَذة لدعم القيم أو القوانين المقبولة دولياً؛ أو جُهود رامية إلى تغيير ديناميات عملية جارية أو تغيير نتائجها.

Single or multilateral actions are taken by parties outside the conflict to influence its course or outcome. These measures may be requested by one or all of the parties to the conflict, or they may be imposed by force. Interference in international relations may take one of three forms: actions taken by external countries in pursuit of their political goals or the achievement of conditions conducive to achieving those goals; or actions taken to support internationally accepted values or laws; or efforts to alter the dynamics of an ongoing process or alter its outcomes.
