الإعاقات النفسية الاجتماعية Psychosocial Disabilities

يشمل مصطلح “الأشخاص ذوو الإعاقة النفسية الاجتماعية” الأشخاص الذين يعانون ممّا يسمّى في الاصطلاح الطبي “اضطرابات الصحة العقلية”، ويواجهون عوائق كبيرة أمام مشاركتهم في المجتمع على قدم المساواة مع الآخرين. وقد يعاني الأشخاص ذوو الإعاقات النفسية الاجتماعية من أفكار، ومشاعر، وسلوكيات مختلفة مقارنةً مع الأشخاص الآخرين. وتشير اللغة القائمة على الحقوق إلى الإعاقة النفسية الاجتماعية، اعترافًا بتأثير العوائق الجسدية والاجتماعية، بما فيها التمييز، على الوصول المتكافئ إلى فرص المشاركة

The term “persons with psychosocial disabilities” includes people who suffer from what in medical terminology is called “mental health disorders” and who face significant barriers to participating in society on an equal basis with others. People with psychosocial disabilities may have different thoughts, feelings, and behaviors compared to other people. Rights-based language refers to psychosocial disability, in recognition of the impact of physical and social barriers, including discrimination, on equal access to opportunities for participation.
